Councilmember Burnham moved to approve an ordinance of Eagle Mountain City, Utah, amending Eagle Mountain Municipal Code Section 17.80.080, Off-Premise Ladder Signs with the following changes: • C: The last sentence shall be amended to read, “All advertising copy shall be approved by the economic development director or designee;” and • H: “New Signs. The economic development director or designee shall determine which signs from the approved map should be constructed. Business shall be drawn from the wait list. Existing signs should be filled before new signs are added.” Councilmember Curtis seconded the motion. Councilmember Curtis raised concerns about “designee” indicating different parties in different subsections.
